Aqua Blue Spinel Pendant
Beautiful Arts &Crafts 835 Skonvirke pendant set with a large (1.3cm x 2cm) stunning Deep Aqua blue Spinel stone. The stone is most likely a synthetic one as these were used prolifically in 835 silver jewellery from the period in Scandinavia and Germany (Theodore Fahrner used synthetic spinel extensively).
The setting is very Danish Skonvirke School in design but there are no marks on this piece - except for the 835 mark on outer edge of the pendant and on the original chain.
Condition: Excellent
Size: 2.5cm x 2cm(not including the bale)
Necklace Length is: 17 ½" / 44.5cm
Comes in a quality double door presentation case.
