Large Georgian Agate Panel Bracelet
Seven panel specimen Agate bracelet - each panel is 1 1/2" x 1" and is set in base metal. This would have been seen as a "Specimen" piece of jewellery, something of almost "scientific" interest. There are several types of banded Agate and two Blue John panels (although dark rather than purple. The tongue clasp is wide and very thin, typical of Georgian jewellery.

There is a panel set in silver which looks like it has been added to perhaps extend the length?

Size: 1 1/2" (4cm) wide x 8 1/4" (21cm)

Describing Precious Metals and Stones

We use industry standard methods for calculating stone weights and / or colour (if stated) in set jewellery using measurements, calculations and comparison. We do not remove stones from their settings to determine size or colour.

*ALL Gold and or Platinum stated precious metals that bare no stamp or hallmark are tested using a non-destructive electronic testing device. All silver is acid tested.
ALL Weights & Measures are Approximate. Unless otherwise stated, any dimensions and estimated weights of gemstones in this description have been determined without unsetting the stones and are, therefore, to be considered only as a probable because of limitations imposed by the mount.
