SOLD Antique Victorian Watch Chain with Chinese Tag & Gun Fob
Solid heavy English sterling silver watch chain with lion passant hallmark on each link and date letter for 1896 on the T-Bar. This is all original (the T-Bar/Chain/Clip) and I would say the well fingered Silver Chinese "tag" fob is from the same period too as it came with it. I'd love to know what if anything this translates to if anyone knows?
The wonderful vintage white metal working Miniature Berloque Cap Pistol (I believe you can still get caps for these) has been added. A "Peaky Blinder" Albert if ever I saw one!
Chain end to end is: 15" (38cm) long and the width is just over 1/4" (7mm) Pistol is: 1 3/4" (4.5cm) long
Weight: 45g
This is a fabulous item and would make a great wedding or graduation gift - it comes in a very good quality gift /presentation case.
