SOLD Gorgeous Aqua Blue Spinel Pendant
Stunning Arts &Crafts 835 Skonvirke pendant set with a huge (1.8cm x 2cm) beautiful Aqua blue Spinel stone. The stone is most likely a synthetic one as these were used prolifically in 835 silver jewellery from the period in Scandinavia and Germany (Theodore Fahrner used synthetic spinel extensively).
Really unusual setting with the wirework frame - I think the repusse design of the bale gives it away as Danish in my opinion but there are no marks on this piece - except for the 835 mark on the original foxtail chain.
Condition: Only the tiniest of flea bites on outer edges of stone as viewed with a 10x - no issue!
Size: 2.5cm x 2.3cm(not including the bale)
Necklace Length is:19½" / 50cm
Comes in a quality double door presentation case.
