Product information

SOLD 9ct Solid Gold Slave Bangle
If there is any jewellery that epitomises the Art Deco period it is long Flapper Beads and Slave bangles. slaves bangles were worn on the upper arm and were the height of fashion for any thoroughly modern Millie. This Millie however, was no ordinary girl, this would have been well out of reach of many, only a well healed "lady" could have afforded this - it's solid gold (as opposed to hollow, which the majority were) AND heavy at 27g.

Fully hallmarked with the Birmingham date mark for 1926 and Assay for 9ct gold. It's just SO deco, from the angular form to the pierced railings, however it is the "wave" decoration that really gives it that Art Deco style.
It is in fabulous condition which is really thanks to the solid gold composition.
Size: Just short of 3" (7.4cm) inside diameter - width 1/4" (6mm) Weight: 27.6g
Will come in a quality presentation box ideal for gifting
