Stunning Art Deco Period Necklace
Thi is a really beautiful genuine Art Deco period necklace of very good quality, design and workmanship.
Unusually, it fastens at the front - see the hexagonal bale on the photo? It's actually a box tongue fastener. Set with real Onyx and marcasite this beautiful quality silver necklace has little plaque style links that are even decorated on the back.
I've seen only a few pieces of this quality, it is totally unmarked but suspect it is of German origina - think Fahrner
Length of chain - 43cm (17") Pendant length 1 and 3/4" Width 5/8th "
In absolutely fabulous condition - no missing marcasite stones or cracks or chips to the Onyx.
